Our stay was unforgettable, enjoyed generous breakfasts.

The location was peaceful and beautiful, close enough to the grocery store, the fjord, in the village centre, and the ferry, in an interesting area.

Our stay at this B&B was mind-blowing! The host, Eli, went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe and happy trip despite the rainy weather and road closures. She provided us with printed directions, ferry timetables, and helpful tips. The dinner she served us was super delicious and the buffet breakfast was jaw-droppingly amazing. The family-run hotel had a cozy and quaint atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly nice. We loved mingling with the locals at the bar on the property. The outdoor gardens with a waterfall were a beautiful touch and the location was very convenient for exploring Trollstigen and Geiranger. The small garden and short walk to the fjord offered great views. Additionally, the hotel provided free parking for our motorbike and the late dinner service was not a problem. We definitely can't wait to come back and experience this unforgettable stay again!

A pearl of fiords. Home-style, welcoming, cosy spot. Excellent hostess, thank you Ellie.

Although basic, room was clean and spacious, with attractive decor. Cafe/restaurant on site useful after long days out.

Poor value as accommodation rather basic for price, but Norwegian prices generally seem higher for a given standard. Bathroom was very small plastic self contained unit and not very appealing. Description of 'lake front' location inaccurate as hotel is 200m up a side road and Fjord is not visible!

I absolutely loved the charming Scandinavian decor of Valldal Fjord Lodge B&B. The wooden floors and cozy furniture gave it a warm and inviting feel. The common areas were spacious and well-lit, making it easy for seniors like me to navigate. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the comfortable seating areas where I could relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The only thing I would ask for to make it a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could have been a bit more attentive. It would have been nice to have someone readily available to assist with any questions or needs that we had.

Typical Norvegian guesthouse. The geographical situation is very good for hiking and other activities/visits of the region. Very kind personal. Outside private car park free of charge. Wifi free of charge. Good breakfast buffet.

Beds are separated and very soft. Bathroom too small and the equipment is very poor. Minimum facilities.
